Beemster® wins four Gold medals at German DLG Awards 2025

Westbeemster, May 12, 2025 – Beemster® cheeses have once again impressed at the internationally renowned DLG Awards in Germany. Four of our cheeses received Gold Medals: Beemster® Medium, Royaal Grand Cru, Beemster® X-O- and Beemster® Aged. These cheeses have all been awarded for at least 5 years in a row and may therefore bear the DLG Classic predicate. The DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft) competition is one of the most respected cheese quality evaluations in the world.

Judged blindly in Frankfurt, cheeses are assessed on flavor, aroma, texture, and visual characteristics. Only those that excel across all criteria are awarded a Gold Medal.
